Questions about getting found by AI

What owners ask before they book an Answer Check, answered plainly. If yours is not here, call us or ask it on the Answer Check itself.

What does getting found by AI mean?

It means your business is the answer when a buyer asks an AI assistant who to hire. People now put the question they used to type into Google straight into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Grok: who is the best commercial roofer near me, who services paint booths, which firm handles this kind of case. The assistant answers with a name or two, and the buyer calls that name. We make sure your name is one of them.

How is this different from SEO?

SEO earns you a place in a list of links, and the buyer still has to choose. An AI assistant does the choosing and hands the buyer a name. The work shares a foundation, because clear pages and accurate facts help both, but the target is different. We measure whether the engines name you, and your search traffic grows alongside it. At WERCS both rose together.

Which AI engines do you cover?

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Grok, plus Microsoft Copilot and the AI answers at the top of Google search. Buyers spread across all of them, so we work on all of them and check each one every month.

What is the Answer Check?

A free call of about twenty minutes. We ask the AI engines live who they recommend for your work in your market, with you watching. You see exactly what each one says today and who it names instead of you. Then we tell you plainly what it would take to change the answer.

What does it cost?

We quote it after the free Answer Check, once we both know your niche, your market and what the engines say today. There is no lock-in: the pilot runs 90 days, and after that you continue because it is working.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. It works like a contractor working on your house. You pay for the work, the house stays yours, and so does everything we added. The site, the pages and the content are yours, in your name. There is nothing to buy back, and if you stop, everything we built stays with you.

What does one business per niche per market mean?

We take one business per niche in a market, so we never work for your competitor there. We agree the niche and the market with you before the pilot starts: a city, a region, a country or the whole world, depending on where your buyers are. A competitor who calls us after that hears that it is taken.

How long until it works?

The pilot is measured from its first month, so you watch the change in writing as it happens. At WERCS the new website launched on January 1, 2026, the first visits from AI assistants were recorded in March, and by May they were arriving every month.

How do you measure it?

Every month, in writing. We ask the engines the same buyer questions again and record, with the date, who each one names. We report the visits AI assistants send you. And we ask you what your callers say, because many buyers who hear your name from an assistant simply pick up the phone.

Do you work outside the United States?

Yes. Buyers ask AI assistants the same question in every country. We work with businesses across the United States and internationally, in any niche and any market. The sharpest fit is a niche where nobody is doing this yet.

Will we get the same results as WERCS?

Results like WERCS's are not a guarantee. The Answer Check shows you where your business stands.

Who is SignalFire?

SignalFire is a division of Fox & Santiago, a Santiago Innovations company. It was founded by Jason Samir Santiago, co-founder of Fox & Santiago. The same team built and runs the website and tools WERCS runs on.
